Here are some shots from the lunar eclipse this morning. Started about 4am and full eclipse was around 5:30 or so. So here are some shots for those that were sleeping or out of the view of the eclipse....      | ||

In the southern hemisphere it happened he other way round. Colour went from bottom to top. | ||

I couldn't take pictures because I was enjoying almost the whole eclipse during my commute in on my Buell. No overhead rear view mirror or roof to get in the way of the view, and I was headed towards it pretty much the whole time. Made the commute much more enjoyable for one day. | ||

I was watching during my morning commute and did not realize what was happening until it had happened! (Boy, dat dare moon shores be lookings strange up dare!) I can be such a dumb ass sometimes, yeesh!!! | ||

Thanks guys! I was boned out of the meteor shower last month cause of T-Storms So I am glad I could watch something this year and pass it along to those who couldn't If anyone wants the hi-rez, email me and I will send em on. | ||

For a second there I thought you had morphed a Spiderman silhouette over the moon in the second pic, sort of like the old Batman shadow on the clouds, but then I realized it was leaves on a tree. Nice shots. Thanks. |
