The new bikes are all great, great to see them on the official site. However I am hot as hell about the cheapness and lackings. WHERE ARE THE OLD BIKES??????? WHY CANT WE HAVE A SECTION ON THE SITE FOR THE X1 BIKES, PICTURES AND SPECS. Why?????????? Where in the hell are the 2006 specs? and pics? Is it that much of a hassel to include old information on the website? Give me a break! FIRE THE WEBMASTER. Make the Buell website cool and informative for today and yesterday. I am a proud X1 owner and it really ticks me off I cant quickly reference specs or whatever BLA BLA BLA at the official website. 5 years is not old information. If I thought that way I wouldnt have a Harley Davidson Education and wouldnt buy the bikes. GOT IT! |

I like the idea. Many higher end watch manufacturers have a "museum" section covering previous models. It provides historical information about each model previously produced with the specs. How cool would it be to be able to go on the Buell site and research every single model that Buell has produced with specs and pics. |

In case Buell doesn't get around to providing this, you can find much of it here: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.buell.com The more recent listings take you to the current Buell webpage because of the way the page is configured, but there's a lot of old info in the earlier listings if you take your time to look through them. A couple things about site that bug me is, It's all flash or something, so I can't pull any part of the Buell site up on my mobile... And...I want to be able to save my pics from Homecoming that I'm in!!!!!!! But nooooo, stupid web designers made it so I can't! Who can I call? |

Brinnutz, Completely agree. The web designer needs to spend some time in the woodshed. It is ridiculous that the site is completely walled off unless you have FLASH player support. A great web-page design caters to ALL comers at some (even downgraded) level. NEVER turn away a customer that has taken so much work to attract to the site in the first place. You only get one chance at a first impression and kicking them out the door for a silly thing like "flash" capabilities certainly sours that first impression. |

Grad, not to rain on the parade or anything, but name me an automotive or motorcycle site that DOES have an archive of past vehicles beyond one year? Even those get cleaned after the new ones have been out a bit. I've noticed the Kawa site sometimes backs up to 3 years for individual bikes, but that's because they still have some on the showroom floors. Never seen the kind of archive you're talking about. ~SM |

"Different in every way" There are few if any which have the type of archive Grad is looking for, but that is why Buell should have one. |

Oh, I agree! The rant just seems a little out of place, like Buell was lagging behind everyone else or something. I think it'd be cool if they had a "History" section that was a timeline of every bike Buell ever made, complete with specs, noting the new features and advances along the way. ~SM |

I had owned a 72 Pinto and Ford doesn't even MENTION this ground-breaking vehicle on their website! I owned a 78 F150 - any mention there either??? I learned to drive on a 1966 Mustang GT - is that car mentioned on the Ford site??? NO!!! I'm a loyal Ford person but this has about been the last STRAW! I bought a Dodge, I'll show them! |

I'm kinda thinkin' (usually get in trouble when I do) that a museum like that would be nice. I'm forever running searches to find a spec to compare to something else. But, maybe these types of things really should be more important to the enthusiasts than the manufacturer. MC mags have lots of old spec's and info, as does BadWeb. Maybe a progressive intuitive manufacturer should spend more time looking forward, and let the rest of us worry about looking back. I would like to have easy access to such info, but I can't fault Buell for not providing it. Slaughter You had a PINTO?? (and admit it in public?) shoulda had the OKRA!!! |

Slaughter, Didn't the Pinto and the F150 explode into balls of flame when struck? Maybe Ford chose to forget those models. |

Hey, we're all family here. I can admit to my past failings! Actually, I bolted a trailer hitch to the pinto and got rear-ended and the trailer hitch pushed almost 4 inches into the tank. Drove it another 2 years before it just died and I sold it to a guy who needed parts. The Factory website should do more to support selling/supporting the newer bike models and while the past history wouldn't require a whole lot of maintenance, heck, that's what the WEB is for. |

I had a 77 T-Bird. Fusia with a white soft top. I used to drive it through the core to get to UW-Milwaukee. I bought a Huggy Bear pimp hat and never had a problem. |

Yeah, make fun, but the Specialized bicycle website keeps specs on previous years bikes, you can go back a few years on most of their products. If I recall they even include pricing. Not a lot of people doing it, but I think mmi is not out of his mind for wanting it. I've read it here that most Buellers are tinkerers and technically minded... I think it's probably true. |

Littlebuggles: Off topic, but since you brought them up: The spec site had one of the most coolest interactive sites I'd seen in a while. http://www.specialized.com/bc/microsite/bodygeomet ry/main.html?x=y |

Heh Harley pays some guy to be there official " manager of History " and pays him alot of money to do it. 2006 content was what thrown away? Why not give access to it? I KNOW how easy it is to do. Not doing it is just being CHEAP. |
