Normally, Car Fax does not list motorcycles, although from time to time they do get into the system. If you know where the motorcycle was last registered, you could call the state's title department and get some information that may be useful. Having a plate number can help. That's how I ran down the title information on my bike. Takes some time. If you know a friendly law enforcement officer, they may be able run a title check for you. Another resource can be insurance companies. Call your insurance agent, and ask them to give you an estimate on insuring the bike. They will often run a title check as part of the estimate, especially if they are an independent agent. just my .02ยข |
