Long story short. My brother was working on his X1 and called me. He was clearly excited. He told told me that the fuel injectors, tps and fuel pump are all oem ford mustang/explorer parts. He is a big mustang nut, but I asked how you are so sure. He said they look just like it. I said "Thats not enuf for me to believe you, and you are full of of crap." One week later. Working on my XB9R. We were pulling out the throttle body. (FYI you dont have to rotate engine to service/remove/replace throttle body as service manual requires.) While pulling it out I noticed two little logos. I kinda jumped and had a WTF look on my face and my brother ran over, laughed and said "Am I still full of crap?"

Looks like we are finding alot of Ford parts in the bike. We will try to make a list with part Buell/ford/vendor part numbers. |

Ford has been a long time friend of H-D. Just one more reason to not like Buells Now if that was a Corvette part, I'd be excited |

Huh! Now how strange is that? Buells popping up with Ford emblems, when all the Ford pieces have Mazda stamped on them! ~SM (Message edited by Swordsman on May 30, 2007) |
