This has been done to death, but having used the search I'm still unsure.

.040 is pretty much the recommendation, but these iridium plugs that I bought as a book replacement for the Buell pro plugs have a thinner wire style post... out of the box they are .025

On this type of plug, should I still gap it out to the .040 ?

I think the gap should be the same but at the same time, I'm pretty sure that you can't adjust the Iridium plugs without messing them up.

I would suggest just putting them in and trying them.
The worst thing that could happen is it runs worse, right?

My Iridum plugs came with instructions saying don't adjust the gap on them. So I didn't...seem to work.
