I think I'm going to replace oil line from tank to cam cover , as I have it off already.

Is there a better clamp I can use than a gear clamp?
Any special hose needed?

Thanks

No not trimmed, stock.

I like the OE style just don't think I can get them, and would need a special tool I think.

From recommendations in another thread I got a tool and some clamps at McMaster-Carr. I haven't tried the tool yet. They have two types. I got the $30 one since they said it could be used parallel or perpendicular to the hose and was better for tight spaces. The $20 one (perpendicular only) looks like the one that you guys list above. Some of you guys may know if that's good enough.

These are the clamps that I got but haven't tried them either:
PN 52545K54, 33/64" to 5/8" ID, pack of 25 for $9.80.

(Search for 52545K54)
Shipping was $6.47 to CA and they also charged tax.
