I'm having a little trouble confirming what the ohm rating is of the single fire coil used on my 02 X1. Anyone have the figure off the top of their head?

No, sorry, but it should be very small. A few ohms.

OK, thanks. I ask because I have come across .5, 3 and 5 ohm coil info. I spoke to a fellow and Dynatek and he suggested the .5 ohm coils. I just needed confirm that this is correct somehow.

Yeah less than an Ohm. Remember that the coils are actually a pair of coils in one box

...and that a "coil" is actually a transformer, which is composed of two inductors, electrically isolated, but interfering with each other magnetically. Each of these inductors is essentially a piece of coiled up wire. It's going to look pretty much like a dead short to an ohmmeter.

Thanks guys. I'm on the right track. The two dynatek coils I picked up are .5 ohm so I'm in good shape. Needed two dual terminal coils for my dual plug heads.
