If you have the key code for your ignition key, you should be able to get cylinders for your saddlebags to match. I bought four for my S2 because they never matched (accessory bags) and the previous owner never bothered. So, I got four locks keyed to my ignition key code.

If you need the code, pull the plastic head off your key (I'm assuming a tuber barrel key). It's stamped into the metal underneath.

If you have a parts guy who's willing to look in the books...have them look up the *accessory* saddlebag kit. There should be a parts breakdown for replacement parts for that kit, which should include lock cylinders.

I know for my S2 bags, they were individual parts and I ordered quantity (4) - there's 2 locks on each bag on an S2. I know the S3 bags are different in construction and design, so they may be set up differently parts-wise, but its worth a shot.

Worst case, if it's not too much money, get the whole set keyed to match your key...and now you have a spare ignition cylinder ; )

I went through this exercise last summer. It was not successful as the parts seem to not be available. I was able to get a new set of latches with the locks and had them re-keyed. Problem solved, It seems like there should be an easier way!
