If so, does anyone have the part number for it and the voltage regulator mount? If not, the American Sport Bike part is ok? |

Sweet, so I should just order that bracket and the infamous oil pump gear if I just bought a 2000 X1 right? |

There is a kit to convert from the old style, includes the hanger and VR bracket, and any other hardware you need. IIRC, you have to remove some paint from the bracket in order for the VR to have a ground. It was in the installation instructions. I wish I could tell you the part number. |

Thanks hoot. American Sport Bike is selling the whole kit for $125. I'm just going to go for that. Comes with the hardware and instructions, etc.. Dummy proof. |

That's a good price. I think I paid $100 for it eight years ago. |
