argh

mice seemed to have chewed through some wires on the right side of my XB9SX. The wires seem to come out of my rear break lever, but the rear break still seems to work.

Any idea what these do? How important is it to get this fixed?

Thanks!

That is the wire for the brake switch, see if the tail light gets brighter when you press the rear brake lever.

This is easy to fix using a solder splice ro regular butt splice connector. However you do it, use some heat shrink tubing to make it look nice when you're done. You can also get some "snakeskin" which will probably resist the mice better.
