Performance Mods!: | XB12Ss: Drummer SS muffler, '10 header, K&N air filter, independent O2 sensors, Delphi 3 bar MAP sensor as baro input to ECM, custom tuning via TunerPro. 1125CR: APH Engineering slip-on exhaust, K&N air filter, tuned via TunerPro. |
Problems/Miles (Please be specific): | XB: Chafing of ECU harness below seat at 28,000km. Ground plane not well grounded. PCV tube behind rear cylinder scorched and leaked (and smelled) until corrected. Horn cracked off around 20,000km. Rear wheel bearings seized at 34,000km. Steering head bearings and front wheel bearings worn at 34,000km. 1125CR: Clutch slave cylinder weeping from actuator cover at 17K miles, repaired using Oberon unit. Clutch/water pump cover leak near front of engine, repaired using Permatex Right Stuff and retorque. |

Why I do/don't ride a Buell: | Rock solid handling, design, performance, and tunability. Fell in love with the sound the 1st time I heard one. |
How can Buell improve their motorcycles?: | The XB really needs a MAP/baro combination (or just a baro) and independent O2 sensors from the factory for smoother and improved performance. |
