Missed out on the Buell Sling pack. Looking for a good functional back pack one that don't look like I'm on my way to school. $$ is tight as well. THANKS

Hey Max,I picked up a backpack for riding/computer meetings, etc. It's a Wenger Synergy pack for laptops. You can get them at OfficeMax,Compusa,Circuit City. It's a great design, strap across the front connecting the shoulder straps, padding with a type of vent-slot system to keep your back from sweating in the summer. The straps are long enough that I can loosen them and set the pack on my seat, while riding and it can hold a load of equipment.Great hardware and materials.Even holds 1 water bottle on each side for longer rides.Runs about $79.00 on average and I love it.Also have a Buell sling pack which I use every day for work, feels kinda funny at higher speeds with the single strap though.
..Mick

Hey man, check out Ogio brand. They've got some great looking bags with some cool features... laptop sleeves, built in internal audio & water bottle pockets. Their moto series actually have a special tool pouch with dividers.

Don't get an 1850... I tried, but they've had some manufacturing issues (some seconds have slipped out into distributors stock). The customer service is fantastic. They bent over backwards to get me fixed up, and actually gave me an upgraded pack at no charge. This new one (a 2100 i think?) is great, no problems at all.

Motorcycle Superstore carries all their stuff.

You could always contact one of the sponsors and see if they still have any sling bags laying around.
