Im12xl- Welcome to the board. I see from your profile that one of your favorite places to ride is Hells Gate in Canada. That is a sweet area, been there only once. I think that is about the area that I got to follow behind a cattle truck and was lucky enough to get pissed on! Well it was a hot day anyway - ewe! For people close in your area, they post up on the NW section - there are about a handful from that section that live up in the Tacoma area.

Later -

Kimberlie

You'd think they WERE hibernating. I'd think that the local BRAG pres. would jump in with a "Howdy" to the new guy, even if he is a little out of the catchment area.
We love the Watcom Lake and Mt Baker area for day rides. But getting across the border just for a quickie is becoming problematic. With the Whistler road about to begin construction, though, we may be hopping down that way more often. But as Loni says, they are more in your area.

Is there going to be a Whistler based Border Raid next summer?

Beyond that........

Galen, Bob & I are going to load Betty into the back of my little red p/u truck on Friday night then the G-Man and I will head north on Saturday morning. Counting stops for gas, breakfast, border crossings and getting lost, I think we'll be at Deeleys House of All Things Buell about 11:00 a.m. We plan to hang around for an hour or two to chat with any of our friends that might care to stop in for a visit, then go out for lunch. After that it's back south and deal with the Gestapo Agents on our side of the border.

We'd love to see you at Deeleys on Saturday morning. Drop by if you can.

OUCH!
Hey, I was out of the catchment area since Sunday. I was in the Lone Star State for a meeting or as FunJimmy would call it.....a "Business Situation".
We will be looking for ideas for day rides and going down to see Im12xl sounds like a good idea. By the way, welcome to the board Im12xl. I think I might put a permit on my bike for Saturday to head down to Deeley's if the weather is OK. I will be good to see you guys.

See Ya

Bib come visit any time just give me a heads up. I don't understand, whats the permit for?

Ray were abouts are you located. As for the going South I do that plenty all my family is S.

Kimberlie, loved your humor on the cattle truck. My last time through Hells Gate was hell)))) it was snowing. Now thats a toss up, freezing hell or fresh warm cattle shower.I don't know. I won't be riding in the cold come March & April. See my firebolt is on a cargo ship at this moment. I got it headed to the Philippine Islands. For another big tour. I did it last year on my S3T, but it was way to hot of a runner. Thats with the Jage oil cooler, and the Buell cooling fan. I felt like a baked spud. Killer good time though.

Hey Derek,
The "permit" is a one day permit. I haven't renewed my insurance yet so if I want to get out for a day I just pay $32 (CDN) and away I go. I wish I could have gotten away to see Galen, Ray and the boys but my little guy had hockey. I was at the rink for most of the time that the guys were in town and they would have been gone by the time I got into Burnaby.
Yes we will have to schedule a ride to your area once it warms up a bit.

Lower Mainland Buell Riders,
There is a BRAG (Buell Riders Adventure Group) Chapter in the process of being formed. If you are interested in more information you can contact Deeley's House of Buell (the Sponsoring Dealer). Get yourself on the list of people who will be contacted with more information as it becomes available. We will be putting together monthly meetings/rides and the season kickoff ride is tentatively booked for Thursday May 20th.

Don't forget to attend the Buell Demo Ride Day on Saturday March 27th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.

Thanks Bib, could'nt have said it better myself. I cannot use the bad-web to promote our store because I don't sponsor this site, but you can. If anyone wishes to assist in the demo rides, I'll provide the bike, all I need is a front or tail rider.

Thanks, Stuart.

Well damn it feels good to be riding again!
Yep, Deeley's House of Buell is the greatest. Thanks for everything you guys! Looking forward to getting our local BRAG Club up and running.
Hopefully we'll gather a few more Buellers along the way.
Ahem... speaking of which SPORTYERIC!!! WTG on the Buell acquirement. Too cool! Funny how our state-side buddies are flogging the Buells and up here, we're still riding them! Hmmm, must say something good about the dealership in our neck of the woods.
The Blast is doing great with the new pro series cams, so you can be sure this little red bike will be nipping at your heels even more LOL!
Ride on,

Lo

Good to see you back, Lorraine! We were telling stories of SPLASH 2003 last night and Jim was razzing me that I haven't any reason to let the lead group give me the slip now. Hope to have it up and running by the end of the week, with luck.

If you guys plan a quick ride somewhere, ping me. I just may want to come along... that is if you can stand my loud-ass Blast.
You guys coming to the season kick off on May 20th?

OK PEOPLE!
Enough is enough. It seems like we have the quietest section in Storm Fronts. Is anyone out there riding? Thinking about riding? I know FunJimmy and Sporty.....er, Tbolt Eric and Gootch are lurking around somewhere. Does anyone want to get out for a ride some night next week?

Well we've booked our rooms for SPLASH and were surprised to know that many still have NOT booked rooms yet! I hope we can get most people at the Cowlitz in Packwood. Just like old times! : )

Gootch & Bib,
Are we still on for Thursday's (Apr 29) meeting @ 6:30?

Ride on Everyone!

Lo
