i was gonna show up a few min early and grab lunch at CW Cowling's in smithfeild before we all take off. ... ya know, while we wait for everybody to show up (some one is always late)

i don't know how long 'the loop' is, but we can ride it again, but sdrawkcab if it's too short, or just peel off early and head home if it's too long.

i don't know when the ama race is gonna be on. i'll find out when i can locate my remote ... lol

my place, kickstands up at 11 (if you feel so inclined), and/or the smithfeild farm fresh shopping center off of route 10 at about noonish. you could take the JRB and make 2 rights onto 258, then onto 10, and look to your left.

I can't make it, 1) because I am kid duty, 2) muffler is off and will be shipping tomorrow. Owe by the way, I don't know how much I can say thanks to Phil, Matt, and Jason for the work the did. I owe Matt and Jason some brew!!!!!!!

just after goody and eric peeled off, we had parked and saw someone on a white/blue 1125r, going south on 258.
dunno who it was. but he saw us, and kept on keeping on.

I bailed right as ol' dude's bike decided not to run at the stop light...was he able to get it restarted quickly? Sorry I rolled by, I had to get to gettin', and I figured with the mechanical prowess of Matt, Jason, and Dwight, he was in good hands.

Alright, I know that June 12th is a little bit away, but I am not sure how much connectivity I will have after next week with the house closing, leave, and pack up. IMO.... 11/12 is too late because the crazies will be up and out. Plus there's a huge event this weekend where people will be "coming into" town to attend. We risk sitting in traffic trying to get away.

There's plenty of fun roads on the other side of the James River. The problem is, they only become fun when you become "Illegal". I mean, you can have fun, but you'll need to be a Hooligan to do it!

Maybe Dwight can lead us through the route he knows.

Oh BTW, we've been invited to a Cookout over here on the Pen. it's from 1 to 6PM on Saturday. The folks who invited us are some of the same folks that showed up for ours, so it might be sociable to show up if only for a short time. Maybe use it as a final stop after our ride for a little fuel for "our" motors. Be prepared to offer a donation of $5. (No such thing as a free lunch) Even if they offer it as free.
