A primary cover is not that bad cost wise, I would buy one and put it on assuming the threads on the adjuster are ok.

Mountainrider, It was good to meet you yesterday, the ticket sucks but we pay to play. Next time I think I will follow you.

I do have some pics to post from the Halloween party and the drag dynos, bear with me I will have them up soon.

I think a primary is about $200.

If you're on a slow connection it could take a while, it's about 10megs.

Ugg. I am going to need the adjuster shoe as well. I don't really get what happened. I know that I bottomed it out, but I didn't think I turned it enough to strip it out. Oh well. That's what I get for not paying attention. It does make me wonder if it was already a little chewed up or something though. I really didn't crank on it.

hey guys ,
I had so much fun being up in the mountains this weekend. Man I wanted to flip over backwards when i realized I could ride on the back of new12r's bike yesterday. no pain in my leg until I got down to Turners corner an realized my leg was freezing. So now the only thing to do is get some warm riding gear. can't wait til march badness an hanging with the crew.

Plus, Shannon decided she can't take care of the dogs like she promised, so I had to get my 135 lb. beast settled into my 350 sq. ft. studio apt!

Well... I ordered the primary cover and adjuster shoe, and gaskets. Around 250. Not too bad I guess. Oh, and I got a shop manual too. Now I just have to wait whilst the beast sits in the garage leaking primary fluid into a drip pan. Damn, and the week is going to be really pretty too.

You gonna be around Athens Thursday or Friday.
I can definately join you for lunch on Thursday and a maybe for Friday.
We get the day off (bank holiday) and hopefully I will be in the mountains or the golf course.
However, I will be working the bar Thursday night so lunch Friday, may be a good excuse to get out of bed.
I work downtown, so there are plenty of places to choose from.

I was in Denver for the Widespread Panic shows and was excited to get back to a computer and hear about the dyno runs. The vid clip was a bonus!!!!

i had surgery today. when the sleepy meds wore off and i woke up, it hurt waaaaaay f'n worse than it did when i broke my wrist. i had to get 2 screws put in. they pumped my azz full of morphine and i was still in agonizing pain. when i broke my back on my cbr, they pumped me full of morphine and it didnt do anything. i guess that stuff just doesnt phaze me. oh well. im doing pretty good right now. tomorrow might be a different story. talk to yall soon.

Bunny....I found the rated "R" version to be offensive, bloody, perverted and quite sinister. Just the way I like it. So the unrated version with all the extras will be super SWEET!
