The goods - The bike ran really well before I put the new pipe on. Now it runs better. I find that the motor feels far more "free" with the Drummer. Its easy to tell that its breathing better. The bike also starts just as well as it did with the stock can, whether its cold outside or hot. Throttle response is just as good as the stock pipe. The way the pipe builds power though, - far more linear. I found that with the stock pipe, the bike would hit HARD at the beginning but not have the HP to keep the pull going at high RPM’s. Felt like there was more torque than HP (although I know that’s not the case). Now, with the Drummer it just pulls and pulls hard all the way to yellow line. In a nutshell – it feels like a V-Twin race bike now, not just a low hit torque monster. As far as the sound of the bike goes…Amazing, but LOUD. I need to wear plugs now. The sound of the pipe resonates in my lid, and hurts my ears if Im not wearing plugs. Good thing is it forces me to wear plugs when I ride. I figure that due to the under slung placement of the Buell pipes, there is no way to get away from an open pipe hitting the ears hard. I do notice the weight savings on the Drummer, but not too much. Mostly when Im moving slow, or pushing/pulling the bike around. The looks of the Drummer are great! Compact, and “Big Corporation” fit and finish. Customer support is the best part though.

If you want a loud, sweet sounding 12 with a bit more punch and a great power band, you wont go wrong with the Drummer.

I like it.

Jack

I agree with everything Joojoo said.. Put my drummer on a week ago and have been grinning ever since. Bubba and kevin make an awesome product...
Now I can't wait for my ECM to get here.
Hey Bubba, do I need an appointment to do the TPS reset?
