got to go to speedworld to a drag fest this weekend. very cool. not a huge turnout so i got to make 21 passes between 10 am and 3 pm. my best run was my very last with many up and downs in between. last run was 12.141 @110.234 with a .543 sec reaction time. only actually won 5 races the whole day. those wins were for cutting good lights cause i was slower that most the other guys. the race was head to head. no bracket dial ins or any of that crap. my last race , one of the few i won, i beat an r1. he was faster..... but i got the green cause of a good light. he actually went 11.86 @118.92 but was slower off the line. ]

good times. my wife got so burned she looks like a lobster.

am going to try and get to the track this year as well. if you dont mind, how were you launching off the line? rpm's,lean, clutch slip ect ..? did you manage to keep the front end down ? that is my only concern cause I tend to launch hard and I have seen a friend of mine on a monster almost go over right at the line ..

feathered clutch and launching hard enough to et front wheel about a couple inches of ground for first few feet, but not every time. second gear poppers most of time and sometimes in third too.

xb12 air box/ k&n / race brain / jardine pipe / bike skinnied down. lots of little stuff not on bike anymore. may be able to break into 11's with some race gas and running with only one gallon at a time to save weight.

The 'bolts are fun on the strip - launching's definitely the hardest part. My best was a 12.200 @ 112.49mph. The bike's capable of sub 12's easily - I'm just not that good! LOL

Great times, Bad_ass, what killed me everytime was reaction and 60' times.
