I may have a front wheel that needs to be fixed or junked. Is there anyone that can straighten these things?

Our wheels are cheap...like $300 from most dealers. Yes, you can have them straightened, but IMO why would you risk a structurally weakened wheel when for just a bit you can have a brand new one? just my $.02...

I figure it is a loss either way, so it might be worth trying. If they crack it, it's trash, if you do nothing with it it's still trash. I guess it depends on the price of the straightening, if it was under $100 including shipping then it might be worthwhile for a street only machine.

Still does anyone know a place that does this?

Lots of companies repair allow wheels now a days.

Here is one in Atlanta that seems to have made a specialty of repairing motorcycle wheels.

I have never used them, just found them by googling "alloy wheel repair".

There are a couple places in town that repair car wheels, hoping to find a recommendation for a place that has actually been tried. Guess I may have to be the first.

I'm certain I'll hate myself for it, but I want to wait and see how it rides with what's on there. If for some reason it doesn't sell I may be interested after this weekend, I really hope I can have it all back together before Saturday.
