Hey group ! I got the new traction pegs on a close out but I cant seem to recall or get that damn spring in between the gap to hook em up duh (brain freeze) Robt | ||

zip ties! Use a small thin zip tie to pull the spring the way it needs to bend, then once its in place and the pin is in place you can cut the zip tie. Just use a flat tip screwdriver against the smallest hook to guide it to the edge, the larger hook can be popped easy enough if it doesn't hook right. | ||

Voodoo. Voodoo is the only sure-fire way to get those things in place easily the first time, every time. I've changed foot pegs more times than I care to remember, have tried everything from zip-ties to pliers to hammers to towels to screwdrivers to verbally abusing said springs. Bottom line is just to mess with them until they go in. |
