i know i saw it somewhere...and i spent all my lunchtime looking for using search and all..... but does anybody have the link on how to do the airbox delete using a couple of bolts and a dremel tool??? |

Are you gonna eliminate the whole thing, or cut the existing one? I cut my existing one because I still have the exhaust controller. I just made big windows in the sides and front. You don't need special bolts or a top plate if you do it that way. |

Mine looks similar to what this guy did. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/309807.html?1191035593 He cut his up more than I did, so he used Al's top plate kit for the air filter. I left some meat on the back, front, and right side so it still had some rigidity. (Message edited by boltrider on February 04, 2009) |
