Does anyone in So Cal/Orange County have the ability to do a TPS reset? I want to install my race ECM so I can run my new SPEC-OPS pipe but I don't feel like dealing with my local HD dealership. The guys behind the service counter are clueless.

Anyways, if someone is willing/able to help me out I can offer burger, pizza, beer, or whatever.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Nate

You can run the spec-ops pipe with the stock ecm, unless you also have breather mods. But since you already have the race ecm, have fun with it!

No intake mods yet but they're coming soon. I figured I'd be able to use the SPEC-OPS pipe with the stock ECM but I don't want to risk it. I'm riding my XB9 everyday to work (100 miles round trip). I can't afford to melt down my motor.

BTW found someone to do my TPS reset. Thanks!

Nate, I'm in Walnut. And I can do it for you...

Wow that's awesome. I work in Walnut. Give me a ring: 719-640-0031. I won't be able to answer between 5-6 pm. I'll be trying not to die on my way home to San Juan Capistrano. Thanks!

Update: got my pipe on. At least I sound faster now. Ha. Lost a little umph from 4k-5k rpm but throttle response and off idle acceleration is noticably better.

Hoping for a bit more power with the race ecm.

BTW cars now move over for me on the freeway. I love that.
