A friend (Aussie XB12SS) found this in Visordown and posted it on another forum:

MICRON the well-known exhaust manufacturer has ceased trading as of 10am yesterday (Thursday 10th July).
The Micron team of over 20 staff - of which some have been working for the company for 20 eyars - have been laid off with as yet no offer of pay.

It is thought that Micron's parent company will concentrate on the automotive side of the business, which accounts for around 85% of its turnover, making exhausts for car brands such as Aston Martin.

Looks like people will be selling there Microns on Ebay for BIG MONEY now. Maybe the price of the race cans will go down a little on ebay now. lol

God damnit, I want to wait till next summer to do the exhaust on my new bike, and Micron was close to the top of my list. It was either the micron full system, or a Specop or Drummer.

I just received mine two weeks or so ago
Must have got one of the last one. That's too bad, one hell of a system...I hope they revise their position down the road.
