WILD HOGS???? LOL
I don't think i'd watch that for inspiration but it is a funny movie.

I'm interested but I don't want you to go through the trouble to find it.

Oh Mr Murphy yea ask my friend Mike about him. Mike broke on our last two trips out. Delayed us two hours last Sunday. We couldn't run the Great Overland Trail after that.

I just ordered the primary reduction from american sport bike. The only thing I haven't really read about in any of the posts is do I have to remove the clutch in order the get enough room to get the front gear off? Or does the chain stretch enough to leave it on? Also whats the the stock front gear tooth count for the 12 and for the 9?

Stock tooth count is XB12-38, XB9-34. I have read that some say they can R&R the gear w/out removing the clutch assembly, but I remember that I pulled mine off. Good Luck

ok, so what the difference in meassure between the 9 and 12 chain? If I wanted to go to a lower gear then a 34 or I want to go somewhere in between what do I do for a chain?

I have thought about this and researched it because I wanted one in between (36) and my conclusion was there is not a manufacture for this. I stayed with OEM, because if one breaks when who knows where you’re at you can get one from any HD. It’s only a difference of 400plus/minus rpm’s!
