Did a small mod to the tail on my XB9r yesterday. Took the rear peg mounts off and replaced the rear tail and seat cover with the racing cover that came with the full body kit from Hal's. I had already modded my plate mount to get it up under the tail. I still have not painted the bike, 'cause it's summer and I'm still riding it! I'll get some pics of it tomorrow. Sure looks better without all the stuff hangin' off back there!
This winter I plan on painting it, and wrapping my pipes. I also had a chuck of DEI heat shield left from my racecar, so I'm gonna stick that under the seat. Any advice on how far forward to try to get it?
