i did not recieve my amsoil filter yet so I need to know a part number on another filter that I can get at the parts store. HD dealer is too far away.. I am getting ready to ride and have to change the oil..?? I have the XB9s

Wal-Mart sells a "BLACK" one ...

Can not tell you the number as "i" am ot of town visiting relatives ...

Been using this Wal-Mart filter for years ...

If the 9 is the same as the 12,AMSOIL SDF10 works. I just put one on my 06 XB12R. The SMF134 is to big.

You can get the KN177 through your neighborhood Advance Auto Parts. I also got my iridium NGKs there, avoiding mail-order houses' ridiculous minimum shipping fees, and of course you can get K&N air filters there too.

I am guessing you're using Amsoil MCV with its doubled motorcycle manufacturer's recommended change interval. In that case, you are right to seek a quality filter that will go the distance between changes.

A friend even changes filters between oil changes. I'm not that cautious. The K&N will do me.
