Does 8425.00 OTD sound like a good deal for a leftover 05 xb9sx (new, 3 miles on ODO)? Also, does the Hero Blue plastic clean up good, there seemed to be a lot of finger prints and smears on the air box cover? | ||

what is the sale price for the bike not including tax, title and license? i paid $7400 05 XB9SX in june of 2005. this of course before tax, title, license and any other document or assy. fees. | ||

Don't know, i told him i had cash to buy and asked him for his bottom line OTD price. That's the price he gave me. I asked if he would do 8000 OTD and he said he would only be making 300 on the price he gave me and couldn't do it for 8000. So i just left him my number and reminded him i have cash, have not heard from him. | ||

If i'm not mistaken the MSRP last year was $8495. MSRP on the buell site for the 06 xb9sx: $8895. "Prices listed are manufacturers Suggested Retail Prices for sale in the USA. Prices exclude set-up, title, and licensing and are subject to change. Dealer prices may vary. See your dealer for details." straight off of the Buell web site. So if the price he gave you includes everything i mean everything from set up to licensing sure that sounds decent. also don't forget that warranty does not start until it is sold/registered. also i was highly advised to purchas a extended warranty with the bike so i did. i'd try $8300 screw him if he cries that he is only making $300 on the deal. they make their money from selling the Harley's not the Buell's. i absolutely love my CityX and my Toyota X-Runner pickup. | ||

i paid 8640 OTD in may of 05 for my sx.i think that was basically the price on the buell site back then.....and the hero blue is a pain to keep looking nice.....i got 11,000 miles now, and just line-X'd all the plastics and i love the way it looks, but beware, bugs stick to the linex...you actually have to scrub it to get them out of all the nooks and crannies.. Buy Used... Just bought my XB9SX two weeks ago for 6100.00 With extended warranty and buell race kit and sliders.. Yes it was a hell of a deal but dealer were only going to give him 5Grand on trade.... Look in the trader Orlando Buell had a new 06 out the door for 81000 and this is a 05.. I'd just tell him straight up that its a 05 and 07's will be here soon.. a 05 sitting new at the dealer now is something the dealer going to have to eat.. Good luck... | ||

I just paid 7995 for an 05 XB9SX with 400 miles on it, with the Buell Race ECM and Race pipes on it. |
