At the end of every season (October-ish) I carefully clean and condition my leathers, hang them on a good quality hangar in a suit cover in a warm (not too warm) dry place. Despite all this care, when I put the leathers on again at the start of the next season (March-ish)...they have shrunk badly!!!
This problem has become worse over the past ten or so years. Is this as a result of some sort "conspiracy" on the part of the manufacturers...or what the hell is going on?
Am I the only one to experience this problem?

The real question is here. How does the leather know to only shrink around the waistband and not in length? How do it know?

Deja-vu. Wasn't this a topic last January!!?
Put the leathers on every couple of weeks and go play in the yard.
