I was going to torque the head bearings on my City-X and got my hands on a manual for a XB9R and it is missing one critical element. The torque spec for the handlebars? In order to get to the loosen the steering stem capnut you have to remove the bars. So before I go ahead I would like to get the handlebar torque specs. Also do I also coat the handlebar allen head bolts with loctite?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

10-12 ft-lbs do the front two first then the back, and use red loctite(272)

I would recommend blue locktite. Red holds well, really well, and some here have had bolts snap their heads off with it. Blue holds just as well and doesn't lock the bolt down so well to risk breaking the head off. Been using it on my bike for a while now with no problems.
