If that doesn't work you may have a clutch ramp (adjuster) problem, or a primary cover malfunction.   Froggy Posted on Saturday, June 18, 2016 - 10:39 am:        Meggadeath, I think you are in the wrong board, these bikes don't have adjustable clutch cables, primarys, or even primary covers. Nicksim123, when was the last time the oil was changed? What oil and weight? I've personally noticed that when it is due for a change that shifting becomes harder and it is more difficult to find neutral. Although I can't say it has ever been impossible to fine neutral.   Zac4mac Posted on Saturday, June 18, 2016 - 11:05 am:        These motors are notorious for not being able to hit neutral, but that issue goes away after a couple thousand miles. My 1125R is easy to hit neutral(28k miles) but my 1190RS has just under one thousand and is still hard to hit while the motor is running. Z   Nicksim123 Posted on Saturday, June 18, 2016 - 01:36 pm:        froggy, I changed the oil a couple weeks ago, only have about 200 miles on the current oil and I'm using 20w-50 mobile 1, I pulled my neutral switch to check it out just make sure it's working properly and it seems to be doing its job, just incredibly hard to find the neutral I guess zac4mac the bike has 8 thousand on it   Dannybuell Posted on Saturday, June 18, 2016 - 03:34 pm:        the hydraulics on the clutch may not be totally disengaging? need to be checked and refreshed? is there any clutch weep?   Nuts4mc Posted on Saturday, June 18, 2016 - 03:35 pm:        easier to find neutral downshifting from 2nd for me... try flushing/bleeding the clutch hydraulic system   99buellx1 Posted on Monday, June 20, 2016 - 11:18 am:        I know this doesn't help the issue or answer the question, but, I don't recommend sitting at a stoplight in neutral.
