Hey guys, need some help with a project of mine. I have been working on this for awhile and I finally have it to where it is presentable. I am trying to make this the largest online database for active users, Buell history, and the future of the bikes. The site is meant to be a resource for all riders. As of now the focal point is the User database and Buell specific information. It also has links to Buell information and sales sites as well as other links. I have also set up a section that piggy-backs Twin Motorcycles OEM part service and OEM diagrams. I will soon have a section up with PDF files for all Buell manuals and parts books. Then I am planning on implementing a wiki section that has all of the good forum write ups I can find organized and categorized for easy access. The database includes the following information: Forum origin, forum username, forum profile link (also available to use facebook), Bike model, year, make, displacement, general location, as well as international full view interactive user map I need YOU to go fill out the registry form. Why don't you add if some one breaks down or needs some kind of help with tools or whatever have a phone # to call for some help. WHO is willing to help a fellow Buell,EBR rider to the map. | ||

That's along the idea of why I even did this! The only thing with phone numbers is that this is still openly available on the web through the site. I have disabled SEO so it is unable to be accessed through most search engines. But still, I personally wouldn't want my phone number out in the open like that. Same with email. I figured the people who did use the registry would be active enough to see monitor personal messages. Badweb's email relay system is perfect for that. Buellxb not so much but still a good way for contact. Facebook is the most immediate and reliable contact. Bman12r, the forum profile link is a link to your profile on your most active account. To get the html link, on the left side of the thread click on your username and you will be directed there. Copy and paste the link in the html browser bar. Another way to access this is to scroll to the top of the page and select the edit profile link. Login and under profile editor options select view profile. As for the actual information, you will be prompted to enter it into a form. Forum site, username (or first/last for facebook), link to profile page (used for contact. In the case of facebook, this is the link to your personal page), make, model, displacement, year, ZIP, STATE/PROVINCE, COUNTRY (ALL 3 ARE REQUIRED. DIFFERENT COUNTRIES SHARE ZIP CODES SO UNLESS YOU PUT THE STATE AND COUNTRY THE ZIP IS NOT NECESSARILY CORRECT), last 4 of VIN# (For machine identification purposes, optional). |
