I spent quite a bit through EBR today. I bought an '09 1125CR with 750 miles about a month ago. I already have 2,500 miles on it now. I go on long trips and didn't want to worry about the stator so that was at the top of the list. At the end of the day I ordered:

-Stator and Rotor kit
-Crankshaft locking tool
-HMF slip on
-EBR ECU
-K&N oil and air filters.

I'm thinking I'll be good to go after I get all of this thrown on. I might upgrade the brakes down the road but for now this should be plenty. Anyone have any experience installing the kit or the HMF exhaust? Pretty straight forward? I'll post pics when finished.

The HMF, although looks and sounds great, it's a real pain in the rear to install. The connection at the header pipes isn't quite right. It's been several months since I installed mine- but the pipes on the HMF were a bit too close together (or maybe too far apart- don't remember). It will eventually go on, but there's going to be some choice words and possibly a rubber hammer involved. The ECU was easy- just be sure to do the TPS reset and 10 minute idle after installed. I can't comment on the rest- haven't done it yet.

Lol, bumpnzx3
I had the same problem with my barkers.

The crankshaft locking tool is listed as "Out of stock" on the EBR website.

Were you actually able to order this tool?

Hardest part of the HMF install is removing the stock exhaust. Front bolt by the oil cooler is a serious pain in the butt.

To install the HMF mid pipe, you have to loosen off the front header so it's really loose and floppy. If you don't, you won't get the mid pipe to fit. Once the mid is on, it's easy.
