I'm afraid so... another low side. No pipe to blame this time. Just a little too much exit throttle and bye bye traction.
Here is a pic of me sliding down my Motoport Kevlar covered ass in the chicane at the Streets of Willow Springs from my rear cam. Once again my front camera failed. I think I need to toss it.
I'll post the video if I live through the race tomorrow.
Once again, thanks to my Motoport Kevlar suit and Helimot Gloves, no injuries.

Damn! Sorry you had to do it again but glad you are ok. Like the saying goes, what ever doesn't kill you, will make you stronger. At least you know what not to do next time. How was the bike handling pre-accident?

Same as my crash then, except i was only doing a track day, I think these bikes give so much confidence, and with the big lean angle available and bags of mid range torque the low side is all to easy. Glad your ok and the bike crashes pretty well i think, can you post some pics up of the damage too please.

Excellent form! Left hand up and everything so the guys behind know you're exiting the track. : )

Hope you're ok and things go better today for you.

I loose the rear end on my track bike a lot on certain kinds of corners.

If you are good on the brakes, there's just no weight on that rear tire and it steps out. If you transition to gas with too much front brake... buh-bye.

Careful... those become high-sides sometimes when they aren't low-sides.

The video is even better. I'll post it tomorrow since I did survive the races with 2 class first places. I got to race with Shawn Higbee riding his 1125R. It was a crazy weekend.

Not up on the latest classes, but what does a Buell run in? And what other bikes are in the same class?

Hell - I just assumed you were waving at the camera, I thought "Dude - you are seriously cool!"

Sorry to hear about the spill, hoe the bikes not too bad, at least you'll be well practised at bodywork repairs : )

Hey Brett, thanks for the pic! Good to see you Sunday. I still tell the story of you letting me borrow the rear axle pinch bolt off your bike so I could finish the race back in May. You da man!

If you want to see the latest crash pics, go here -

I'll get the video up asap.

I usually run in the Battle of the Twins Heavyweight and the Formula Twins Heavyweight. But I ran in the Open Production Modified this weekend since I missed the Formula race due to a pit mishap.
