Hello Gents,

Any recommendation for a rear wheel stand? I borrowed my buddies today that he uses for his Gixxer 750 and I think his BMW as well and it is too narrow by close to an inch for my 1125R. He bought it on eBay and I see they list Buell application at $47.49 with free shipping, but at 16" wide I'm afraid it's to narrow. Is Pit Bull the way to go at $154.00? Any input is greatly appreciated. Also what do you guys recommend for the front end?
Best regards.

Why are you asking this in the classifieds? Anyway, I bought the pit bull forward handle, where you can stand next to the bike and use it. Pit Bull had to modify the width, which they did happily and for no extra charge. I am very happy. Lifetime guarantee and very high quality. The welds are a work of art.

well I have a piece of 2X8 with a depression sawed in the top that fits the shape of the muffler. I put it under the muffler at either jacking point depending on if i want to take off the front wheel or rear. The bike is then supported by the other wheel, the side stand, and the 2X8. It is free and has worked great for several years.....just sayin'

my normal method for changing either the front or back.

whatever fits under the muffler and holds the tire off the ground just enough.

Dude, that looks a bit unstable. What about at least an upgrade to a cinder block?!
