Here is one of my bikes that I have up for sale.

Its not in the best of shape cosmetically BUT it runs great with no issues.

I was only able to do one race weekend with it due to lack of funds.

The bike had a minor lowside but it ripped off the frame puck, scraped up the swingarm, and scratched the plastics.

These pictures are as the bike sits right now. I do have ALL of the stock parts and will most likely put it back to that condition within the next couple weeks.

Here is the deal, if you want the frame and swingarm powdercoated I will coat it any color you would like, BUT you will have to pay for the coating which can run 150-300 and I will not charge any time to pull the frame.

I will also paint the bike any color you would like BUT you pay for time and materials on that. Painting is done by myself, powdercoating is contracted out.

The bike has a K&N filter and also has a ZTL2 caliper with new pads. Bike has two BRAND new forks also has some powdercoated parts on it to include the triple tree, primary cover, heel guards and more.

So for the 3800 you are getting the Street parts (all lights, kickstand, mirrors, chin spoiler) AND race stuff (number plate and belly pan).

Tires are also in great shape with only one race weekend on them.

The bike has a salvage title but I have all the receipts and documentation to take care of that.

As the bike sits 3900 bucks...If you want something special for paint or powder coating we can talk.

Any questions please feel free to email me!

Hangontight- I am hoping to have it sold by then. I am getting the title cleared the first week in May and will most likely throw a coat of paint on it and coat the frame if it doesnt sell by then.

Alright, if someone wants the bike 3000 bucks as it sits right now.

That is the lowest I will go because I can part it out for that.

The bike does have the original odo and it has right around 5800 miles.

Really outside of the cosmetic damage this bike is in like new shape with all brand new parts and new bearings.

It hasn't been inspected and cleared yet? I guess that knocks out fly-n-ride..... Is the street wiring intact? What color are the street fairings?

PM me with info on how to inspect. I have a really REALLY good friend who needs a ride. I have the cash.

If it was a 9s I would be all over it.

Loose1- why would you prefer a 9? You could go with the 9 gearing in it, and everything else is just bolt on pieces, thats the greatest thing about the XB lineup!

I don't like the long stroke of the 12. It runs hotter and my 9 will beat up on most 12's My future plans for mine is a 1190 kit with a turbo. Then it might be un-ridable but it would be fun to try.

Most people donk understand that the 9 has a shorter geared primary drive thus making it seem quicker. They soon find out the 12's dominance once into 3rd gear and above.

you beat up on 12's? i find that hard to believe. especially with my 12 geared down to the same as a nine

lets talk on this, first where in WI? im from North Dakota, so id like know if i should ship or fly down and ride back.. secondly for the most part id like to have mostly street legal stock, i do have an xb12s, so i do have a few parts if needed, and finally you had mention frame and swing-arm being either painted or powder coated. this would mean the swing-arm scratches would be gone and puck would cover most of the frame damage as long as it doesn't leak i would be fine with that, also what was original color of this bike?

email is baehmj@ndak.net

Jabaniz- PM sent.

As far as 9's beating 12's and vice versa......
Quite honestly it depends on the rider for the most part. If you have equally competent riders on bone stock bikes it is really a toss up as to who will come in first based on the track they are on.

For 3k could you get the frame and swingarm p.coated? I hate to beat you up but I have three thousand to buy the most buell that I can and purple is the only color that I cannot deal with on my own bike. I thought about getting into track days down the road but I'll deal with a salvage title and imperfect metal if my budget gets me the stuff to do it out of the gate. Feel free to say no, I realize that it is a lot of bike for not a lot of money, it is just what I have to work with to deal with the fire in my gut to get onto a Buell. Call me at 765 490-3595 if you want to talk about it.

Sotipnomon- Well just to clear up the color thing..... Believe it or not, it is the SAME powdercoat as the hero blue wheels, the only difference is there is 5 coats of it on the frame so it lost its translucent appearance. So it is a dark blue not purple ; ) As for the price, I just cannot budge on the price anymore than I have. I certainly appreciate your interest though!

So when you say "clear" up the title do you mean that it will no longer be branded salvage after the inspection? And can you post or send me pics of the street parts please and thanks?

lol. i always love it when people underestimate my bike because it is a 9. if it was slower i would have kept my 12's instead of my 9's.

there are a fair amount of 12(stock and built) owners on here that have been out run by my poor little 9. to each their own. just leaves more of them for me : )

The bike is undergoing a facelift.

I am going gloss black with the frame and probably a nice yellow paintjob, who knows I just may redo the pearl.

It will most likely be back up for sale in a couple weeks.

Thanks,
Chris

Wish I had the extra money! Looks like the frame survived without any dents which is the important thing.

Yeah the frame is fine, just needs a new puck and it will be good to go.

Ive been sidetracked with other projects lately so I havent pulled it apart yet for the new facelift.
