Ok the battery of my 06 it's on it's way out,
4 and a half years on the stock one, not to bad, i have the measures, and all specs I can even get the stock one for 95€, so my question is:
the stock AH is 1,2, would putting a 1,4 or 1,6 be any kind of problem?

It is a 12 AH battery, the one from H-D is an AGM lead-acid.
There's a thread from a couple of weeks ago talking about a new NiFe Polymer battery from Shorai Power(chinese) in the size case of our 12 AH but with an equivalent 14 or 18 AH depending on price.

Looks promising, more power, same size much less weight.
18 AH is ~$170 IIRC.

About 10 pounds depending on the battery. Stock battery is about 12lbs, even the heaviest Lithium based ones are at most 3lbs

I just installed a 14 amp Shorai in my Uly. So light and small that it literally feels like a toy. 1.8 pounds.

Sure doesn't start like a toy though!

Cycle Gear's house brand "Motoboost" battery has a "Last battery you will buy for your bike" warranty.

Maybe "Motoboost" is not so good. First one began to loose cranking capacity. When the clock reset but the charging system checked out OK, I exchanged the battery.

Got the toolkit out for a tire change yesterday, the new Motoboost has been leaking. The battery tray is not ruined, but significant areas of its plating has been stripped.

Stick with a OEM if you can. A few pounds on a Uly is neither here or there.
