Call me cheap, but I have just purchased my
2nd new rear sync and a I am noticing that I need to change out my front one with in a few miles, My plan was to change out both front an back at the same time for a set of road pilots. So I am looking for a used
Pirelli® Scorpion® Sync® 120/70ZR-17
with about 50% of it's tread left, so I can get to the point that they run out about the same time.
if you have one, let me know at texasroyers@yahoo.com
Thank

Dammit. You should have posted 3 weeks ago! I just did a front/rear change from Syncs to Pilot Road 2's.
Rear was toast, but my front was only half dead at the time.
Unfortunately, I left it at the shop.

Cheap!

Well you said to! I got those things, but they are probably worse than the one you want to take off. I use them until the tread has left the carcass. Not worth shipping for sure.

How about this one? It has 18k miles, should be fine for a few more!

The one I currently got on my bike has less tread. Its yours for the shipping cost : )

I just want to get all the fun out of the back sync before I change over, and it would be nice if the front did'nt wash out while I'm bag draggin around a corner.

Thanks
But that one looks identical to the one I have. Anyone know why they tend wear on one side? Do I need to find roads with more right hand turns than left

There is no need to run matched tyres any more.

I'm running a Pirelli Diablo in the rear, and a Pirelli Sync in front. It works very well for me. I plan to keep
the Sync in front, because I like the way the front reacts in heavy rain. Syncs in the rear never lasted more
than 5 or 6K for some reason. Hoping for more from the rear Diablo. Time will tell.

The road crowns in the center, meaning you ride more on the left side of the tire, even when riding straight. (in the US !) Some areas have a more pronounced crown than others, due to local conditions such as weather.

Wish you had posted two weeks ago, just swapped out to RP2's and the front was a little bit cupped, but wanted to swap to new shoes for the summer. Left the old at the shop.

They also wear more on the left because we ride on the right so left turns are more sweepers cutting across a lane taken faster and right turns your going slower.

Thanks Guys
I'm going to ask the service tech (Buell lighting rider) at the HD shop while Im in for my 10K service, if he has any with at least 50% tread left. I'm just letting the cost of the service fade away, before I ask my better half for another $300 for front and back RP2s

I've got one that has about 500 miles on it, no flats or anything-great shape. I'll sell it to you for $60 plus shipping (half price). PM me if you want some pix and more info. I switched back to 616's because I ride in the dirt some and I like the 616's better there.
