Thank you. In the sea of bikes there the Sprint looks kind of bland but that's okay. I enjoy the Useless and the X1W but really like the triples. Variety is the spice of life. Here's a Triumph from the same day and it sure made me think of a Buell - all motor and short wheelbase.

i am here too. seems like facebook is much more active, but I still check badweb several times per week. I have been really busy getting my bikes running well. They both had some issues which now seem to be resolved. I spent this past weekend with the 1999 S3. I did the intake seals, FI seals, TPS reset, reflashed the ECM with a stock tune using ECMDROID, new exhaust gaskets, new plugs, and new O2 sensor. After doing all that, my stumble/ misfire at 3500 seems to be gone. Yipee! It runs really, really well. Now I get the put the bike away for the winter. I also worked on my S1W this past weekend. I pretty much have that dialed in too. I put the stock rear fender back on (it previously had a carbon fiber hugger from american sportbike), fixed the short in the license plate light, installed a new ignition switch, fixed the bubbling decals on the tank. Oh, and I finally got my brother in law to sign the title and send it to me. So I can actually ride it legally now. Notice the blue license plate- it now qualified for collector plates in wisconsin. Next year my S3 will also qualify. Now I basically get to put this one away for the winter too. I plan to work on the cosmetics over the winter- rust and corrosion.

oh, and I also knocked out this project too. I had some left over license plates laying around, so I made this for my mancave in the basement. The wood is old pallet lumber that I had in the garage.

It's boy's soccer season at school, so coaching has me very busy. This is the first time on for me in a few weeks Starting to cool off, and I need a new set of tires very soon, so I reckon I got one more good ride for this season left |
