Yet another promise fulfilled/victory for America, but how does the Deep Media spin it?

She wanted to meet with Trump to try to get her Grandmother Pardoned. I think, my opinion here, that he agreed to the meeting because he recognizes the impact she and her husband can have on low information voters. |

Handouts are easy, but they're a dead end. Hard work is hard, but the potential is endless. Dems bank on the appeal of handouts. So, in fact, does the basic image of Socialism..."free stuff to the masses", nevermind who actually pays for it / supplies it, or how... |

Handouts have historically been a great way to insure votes. President Trump is offering folks a better way - better for them, and.......better for the people that have historically funded the handouts. Win-win. (Message edited by fb1 on May 31, 2018) |

...Dinesh & Martha were rail roaded into prison without real cause D'Souza was a political assasination - he flew too close to the sun (i.e., the former pResident) and the awakening was reaching critical mass. Some interesting snips from D'Souza's twatter tonight: The President has the right to pardon but the facts are these: D'Souza...voluntarily pled guilty... -- Preet Bharara Bharara & his goons bludgeoned me into the plea by threatening to add a second redundant charge carrying a prison term of FIVE YEARS. -- Dinesh D'Souza KARMA IS A BITCH DEPT: @PreetBharara wanted to destroy a fellow Indian American to advance his career. Then he got fired & I got pardoned. -- Dinesh D'Souza Bravo President Trump! Dinesh was the subject of a political prosecution, brazenly targeted by the 0bama administration bc of his political views. And he’s a powerful voice for freedom, systematically dismantling the lies of the Left—which is why they hate him. This is Justice. -- Ted Cruz Hat’s off to the president, who’s going to pardon Dinesh D’Souza. His prosecution and imprisonment by a hack Democrat prosecutor was outrageous. And there aren’t many GOP presidents who’d have the guts to do this, either. -- Mark Levin Spare me leftists with your “outrage” over @realDonaldTrump pardoning @DineshDSouza, where was the outrage when @Barack0bama released 5 Taliban terrorists for traitor & deserter Bowe Bergdahl?! quote:A Worthy Pardon for Dinesh D’Souza By Andrew C. McCarthy, May 31, 2018 In Alexander Hamilton’s view, “humanity and good policy” counseled that “the benign prerogative of pardoning should be as little as possible fettered or embarrassed.” Why? Because all criminal-justice systems occasionally work injustice, whether because of some laws that are too draconian or some enforcement actions that are too zealous — or, worse, are politicized. As Hamilton elaborated in Federalist No. 74, “The criminal code of every country partakes so much of necessary severity, that without an easy access to exceptions in favor of unfortunate guilt, justice would wear a countenance too sanguinary and cruel.” The selective, politicized prosecution of conservative author, producer, and activist Dinesh D’Souza was an exercise in gratuitous severity. President Trump’s pardon of D’Souza, announced today, is the remedy the Framers had in mind. D’Souza was (and is) a strident anti-0bama critic. He committed a trivial campaign-finance violation. This is not to excuse the conduct; it is to reaffirm the principle that the punishment should fit the crime, and to observe that the conduct at issue is typically not treated as a crime at all. Routinely, misconduct of the kind engaged in by D’Souza is settled by payment of an administrative fine to the Federal Election Commission. In stark contrast, the 0bama Justice Department not only selectively prosecuted D’Souza; prosecutors turned the case into a multiple-felony indictment.
^ Source, more: https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/dinesh-dsouz a-pardon-just/ The hit on D'Souza, perpetrated by the "0bama Justice Department," is similar in style and severity as to the hit on Arpaio (which was perpetrated by the exact same folks), and had the same effect at the time: STFU. A government weaponized against its citizens to stifle truth unpleasant to the government; the Framers would not have approved. |

The person I heard it from went out of his way to be clear that he simply wished someone would do it, and that it wasn't a threat of any sort. This was out in public, and not spoken quietly though. It was a noisy area, and I was not part of that group. Not the least bit ashamed of saying it for everyone to hear. |
