LOL, I just got a good chuckle reading this thread.. Thank you. I have to agree that "Eleven-Twenty-Five" is about as standard as we're going to get... at least until a few more years roll by. For anyone keeping track of personal nicknames... mine's named Tiny. Parked in my driveway, next to the Uly, a DRZ400, and a V-Strom, he looks so small. But make no mistake, he will whip the crap the rest of them on the street. |

Interesting, I ALWAYS name my vehicles, also always, female. When I pulled the plastic wrap off, opening the crate, the first thing I saw was a very full, low cut sweater. Loretta! She was the first 1125R I saw in person. My Uly's "official" name is Bluenose, mostly tho, I call her The Beast. As far as generic names, 1125 pretty much says it. The guys at work call it Wicked! I've always referred to mine as "the 1125", but my personal name for her is Gemma. If you've watched any Sons of Anarchy, you'd understand!!! |

My red 1125cr is Sebastian due to the family resemblance to the crab in the little mermaid. |

Tempted to personalize plate mine with "Nyx". Seems appropriate to me. "In Greek mythology, Nyx ("night"), Nox in Roman translation is the deity of the night. A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation, and was the mother of personified gods such as Hypnos (sleep) and Thánatos (death). Her appearances in mythology are sparse, but reveal her as a figure of exceptional power and beauty. She is found in the shadows of the world and only ever seen in glimpses." "from 09 when Eslick on the 1125 be at all the 600 cc IL-4's and took daytona" daytona or daytona sport bike (as in the class)? Cause just Daytona would not be true, that was the infamous separation of part of the bodywork from the bike incident which set him back quite a bit. Man, it was so exciting to see him battling it out with the two yamahas for the first while. I posted this in another thread - 1125 Its simple, it encompasses both models well and pretty much no matter where you are people will know what youre speaking about (VS some of the other ones posted when it makes me scratch my head and say "why?" or "what?") |
