IIRC, Dean Adams was talking about some used 1125s thru Erik Buell Racing not long ago.

Simply amazing. I emailed Erik buell racing yesterday and they responded today asking what exactly I was looking for. It's sunday!!!!! Do these guys ever rest? Even if they can't help I am way more then impressed with there service. Simply amazing what a great company. |

If I end up with a spare I might consider parting with some parts. But yes very frustrated with hd. O and I am briggs888 I switched my screenname to match it with my new email account I know there is probably an easy way to do it but having a different account was faster lol |

So looks like I am going to repair my original engine thanks to ebr very greatfull to them. I am buying a spare to put in while the old motor is being repaired. My question is I was thinking of having the heads decked a little and maybe a port and polish, will the race ecm I installed run like crap with these mods or are they small enough that it will not affect the running of the bike? |

If they are small enough not to impact the fuelling, then what's the point in douing them? I'm not yanking your chain, just asking a genuine question... |

That is a good point I guess I was just wondering if the the mods will change the flow caractoristics and compression drastic enough that more tuning will be needed or if it will adjust itself. I am guessing that it will need tuning but was just wondering if someone has done any head work to these motors besides ebr. |

I was just curious because I remember when deans first pipes came out he was getting power gains with not tuning just wondering if anyone have played around with this or not. |

Ok guys i just dropped my head off to get rebuilt the guy and a few others have talked me out of head work such as decking and porting since I really only street ride and the bike is fast as is. The best part was he rides BMW bikes and when I told him it was for a buell he looked at me and said " are you a big fan of Harley or buell?" I said "buell." He said good and then went on a twenty minute speech about how Harley screwed buell and how great Erik is and all his great ideas. He showed a lot of support for the buell riders. It really made me smile. |
