Frank, I went to a sports shop & bought a divers bag for a quarter of the price. Absolutely TOP! Stuff everything in, roll the top then clip the ends together, strap it on the pillion, job done. BTW there's an English comedian called Frank Skinner, funny as f***, plenty on youtube. | ||

I threw our 2-man tent into the back of the truck in case anyone needs to borrow it. So if anyone is unsure about coming or can't come cause they don't have room on their bike for a tent, just let us know. We'll be in Suches Thursday morning and will be leaving Sunday. We don't need the tent this year since we're staying at C3. | ||

I'm now on the fence as to when I can head down- at the last minute, my boss responded to my request to have more shifts by filling up the first part of the week with them, up to and including working lunch on Thursday... By the time I get off work, that would have been the time I was planning on having camp set up at TWO... Vern, I'll keep you posted as to whether I'll be joining the convoy Friday AM. I'm gonna try to unload that Thursday lunch and go with my original plans, because I'd offered to lead a ride Friday AM from TWO to Reliance TN and back thru Tellico Plains. Still, I gotta say- WOOHOO!!! | ||

Sunday I was talking to a guy from New Zealand. He said they had roads like our in spits and spurts, "but not that go on and on and on like here" Yep, we like it here! Thanks to GREAT reconnaissance, GREAT roads (thanks Glitch!) We do what we can Mark, you ought to do like we do when time's against us, and arrive late! I've been slow, low, and even out of work lately, so I understand. Got busy this week, and I'm doing all I can to be finished before the end of the day tomorrow, so I can play Thursday. The way it looks now, I may have to work Thursday, and just get there as early as I can Friday. | ||
