Anyone notice this? I'm thinking about taking 10 days off and hit Black Mountain and go to this at the same time. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 521285.html?1262225148 |

looks like I'll be riding the final 3 hrs to this place from our cabin in "Black Mountain". The wife wants to take a family trip there in April. I'll prob trailer to BM and then ride down for the April Buells Day weekend. |

I will definitely have to run this by the wife. I can fit two-three bikes in the back of the truck if someone wants to drive with me down there...or we can ride. Plus, the wife will be here, and NOT in Alabama. Also, it may be cool to head down there Wed night/Thurs AM to make it for their bike night that they have on Thursdays...just a thought. |

Hey, if anyone wants to join into the fun, The cabin that we're getting in Black Mountain will be open as a staging ground for Friday and Sunday nights. It's 3 hours through some interesting twisty roads from BM to Copperhead. You can trailer down, leave the trailer and stay with us in the Cabin Friday night. Saturday morning make the ride to Copperhead and then reverse Sunday afternoon and trailer home on Monday. IF you have a wife and kids who want to also get away, but have no interest in twisty roads they can wait on your return Sunday afternoon with my wife and kids. We however will be staying the whole of the following week in Black Mountain. Just a thought... But if you're considering it, be for warned that you must bring your own linen to the cabin. (it sleeps 12) |
