Hello guys & gals, 2 months not riding due to the famous shaft, I was wondering I know from 06 to 07 the pin on the shaft was rotated 90º but what about 08? is it compatible with 07? Thanks. have nice rides. |

An 08 throttle body will not retrofit to an 06/07 model. See the link here for more info. The 08 design has a different TPS which appears to mount at a different angle. In addition, the plastic bushings were replaced with ball bearings. I can't really tell for sure from the diagrams, but I would bet the shaft design is different due to these changes. Looks like your best bet is to buy parts listed for your specific model year. Also, see page 80 from this link to view the differences between the 06 and 07 models. |

Well i guess 2007 fits on 2006 if you change the TPS sensor |

Does anyone know if an `08 throttle body, with the better design, fits on an `06 and `07? It seems wise to upgrade to a better part if one has to buy a whole new throttle body, if it fits. I would think, one would have to buy a new TPS sensor also. |

the 2008 has no idle stop. It's completely different. The whole ECU, timing, all of it different. |
