The light waves absorbed by the black create a light wave vacuum, allowing light wave acceleration!

The White ones have to push against all that light going 186000 miles per second! If it wasnt for that 146 hp, they could barely move!

I called Mac at Battley Cycles today he said there TFI unit will be available in 2 to 4 weeks price will be around the same as the Dobeck TFI unit $250 - $260 and they will honor the military discount like Dobeck (which is a pretty big discount) more and more stuff is coming available now...getting interesting.

Marco, I think that the dampner was $420 or so. I had some dealer credit that I used to buy mine.

I rode a demo 1125r on Friday with the Jardine slip on and while the power was nice, it had IMO, the most obnoxious exhaust note ive ever heard. It was like riding a hare scramble on my modified 400EX. It just didnt sound right to me. Like I said just my opinion.

I might be getting old, but if I cant hear metallica through my mp3 player while riding because of my exhaust, I dont want it. As I was saying earlier, thats just my opinion on the pipe. I did like the improvement on torque though.

Damn, dude. You're in the same boat as I am.

Metallica is now "classic rock"

A kid that worked for me heard me jammin one day, and said "Do you have any of that old Metallica stuff? You know, the Black album?"

-sigh-

i will agree trying to listen to the mp3 player while riding is a little tougher now but i'm fairly tone deaf now after 3 deployments and tons of ranges wearing no ear protection...my last hearing exam i had to take over 3 times till i learned the timeframe and press the button at the right time to pass ( i couldnt hear any of the high pitched stuff) ....i was real close to having to get hearing aids by the military standards

Cigarettes may kill you, but cig butts will save your hearing if you stuff one in each ear.

I will be getting mine back from powdercoat in black. This pipe sounds great from the response i get at my large harley/buell shop in riverside, ca and bike nites/events.

Anyone got closer pics of the mount points for the Jardine? I'm wondering if the end of the pipe could be cut back an inch or so to allow the muffle to be tucked in just a hair more...

Hey thanks...Russ i like white too....come to the dark side....i will try posting more close up pics of exhaust mounts in back soon.
Word from Jardine/dobeck tuning with the new K&N air filter when it becomes available will probably get close to 150HP! they say...with the tuning capability, etc. I will post his comment and they will be doing more tuning soon/dyno runs. Thanks again.

Thanks Russ:

Jardine stops by quite a bit with info/tuning info. I have to say this tuning by Mark Dobeck of Dobeck Performans(feedback im giving) is one of the best and most sophisticated with the time he spent tuning my bike with new tuning card, etc.(more than a complete day, Osillisopes, calipers, etc, more to followup). I will post more as I get more info and may get Chris Neely(Mechanical Designer of Jardine involved more). See att. below from Chris of Jardine.

Good Morning,
I will give you a call later this morning and get some details as to how it feels and what your overall thoughts were. As for the air filter, this will be a good jump in horsepower with everything paired up, I think you might get up to the 150 hp range very quickly.

I will be seeing Mark Dobeck today as well, I will see if we can perhaps come down and meet up with you to go over somethings about it. And the adjustments that will take place. I can walk you through the changes to make to the card to ensure the best power delivery.

Hey Teach they are posted earlier by one of the other badweb members....its getting better as i ride it and test more...they will be dynoing and tuning again. Its easy to tune yourself once they show me. When the K&N is available soon we will be testing again on dyno. Lots of potential and I like that Jardine/Dobeck performance/K&N and many others are taking the interest here in the US on Buell.

I would of thought that with tuning capabilities that this dyno sheet would have more low end with a pipe??Is this tune just done with the fuel cells?a little more timing down low with gas should increase the torque???

Something smells fishy here!!!

Again adoogie..read this before speculating, (My bike is the guinea
pig testing and feedback and I may want more lowend/torque for my bike, they have tuned it twice for better fueling(less decel pop as most aftermarket pipes cause without tuning) cruise portion 4-8000RPM. Its just a start still have more to do with tuning/feedback. This was posted earlier in the discussion and I forwarded your comment to Jardine/Dobeck Performance for better understanding/feedback: See below earlier posting.

Here is the chart, I must of forgot to attach it. Piggy backs also change your timing and oher factors. We made all this power with fuel addition and controller with the exhaust. If we started to throw in timing it would be more as well. Not to mention the cost difference. Piggy back units affect your stock curve and are more invasive on the ECM. Our unit does not affect the ECM at all. Only inbetween the fuel injectors and O2 sensors.

The ecm learns and the units that are piggy back learn too even if there programmed .Example >>remus powerizor.< junk in my eyes. everytime I started that r up it acted funny for that reason .I would have to run it for a while before it ran good.It did run better after a while but it took about a 30 minutes for it to learn and the ride was boggy and not crisp .My bike runs better now with the airbox off and the stock flash .So what im getting off to here is if your tuning a bike like this its better off to use a system that you can turn off the learn mode and run a speed density system like the r without the learn curve and use the programmed values.Kind of like what dragracers use called Alpha n tuning.tps rpm and map sensor you can still use startup enrichments .I dont know if xb9s software is capable of this but it sounds more versitile than what this other setup is.<<<< can this setup doebuck and jardine do that.is it a standalone?? If not Xb9s software is the best cheapest way to go in my eyes.

Adoogie3 i dont have that problem at all on my bike with the powerizer it did take about 50 miles to smooth out but now it seems to be getting better and better every time i ride it no problems at all

And if im correct on the Jardine/Doebeck system i believe it plugs into the o2 sensors the TPS and the injectors so it does the same thing by sending a certain voltage back to the ecm so in a way takes the learning outta the equation because it always thinks its O2's are in optimal range..

Thanks to all for your comments/feedback(thanks adoogie), Im at work selling Buells today, Buell Bike day! for our shop in Riverside, CA.

I will get to you all back to you next week sometime in regard to Chris Neely/Dobeck tuning card and have him give better information(no misinformation) on how this system works. I want him to get more involved and with my feedback/tuning and dyno runs/charts. They will show me the card and how I can tune back to stock(plug n play I think) or tune for more performance, etc. Thanks again for your patience and comments. Thats what it is all about with new products/tuning and feedback to make the best product for the money or alternatives. I await the K&N filter also after giving another demo 1125R stock for there prototype airfilter 4 ply(regular high flow) for testing with this system.
