Someone had asked about the Henry Hudson Drive. Here are a couple photos from a ride home from a meeting today. Look close . . . that's the Bronx in the background. You can barely see the Henry Hudson Bridge between Manhattan and Da Bronx. There . . . can you see it now? You gotta love New York City . . . . and . . . I got my required miles in. It's like two . . two . . . two jobs in one!! |

Nice pics! I only remember the Hudson River Parkway( Drive?). Not so scenic! |

I did see one thing yesterday that was alarming and was a first for me. I came down the Harlem River Drive to the FDR on the way home. Just north of 125th Street, as I passed the housing projects, there was yellow crime scene tape and unmarked cars everywhere. I looked in the middle of the entire thing and there was a body covered in a sheet. I started to take a photo but didn't think it wise. Drug deal gone bad. I love riding in New York City but choose my times and places accordingly. |
