the fuell light sporadically pops on also and the dealer can't duplicate it. doesn't start right away but after i'm a few miles down the road as i'm heading to work in the morning, it definitely gets noticeable. they say the stator checks out but other than that, i have to wonder. |

I would think if the fuell light comes on then its that pesky connection in the fuell pump. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/370859.jpg Maybe? |

Nevrenuf: Mine was coming on randomly and the pump was just not shutting off. So on this shot you have 4 wires. 1 was the pump and the other was the light. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u177/snowscum/f uelpump/P1010402.jpg Yellow was the light and the brown was the pump. It was acting weird for a long time. Well this was the issue. But you have a pulsing head lamp??? |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/460350.html?1242705744 This was my thread on my pump. If you decide to get in there, drain the tank first!!!! Otherwise you will be taking a gas bath. Lol |

Neil, Is this on your '08 XT? I thought they did some clamp device to hold the wires '08 and up. I could be wrong(but that has never happened before). |

Mine did not affect the headlights. You might have a grounding problem somewhere. |
