Zatco, don't take it personally, I put a complaint on the thread referring to several stickers, including yours. I don't know if the mods were responding to my complaint when they removed yours but good for them. When I come into situations like this, it's part of my beliefs and conscience that I speak up. (Actually, it's also part of my job.) I'm in a different country so I'm not going to get caught up in anything here. I would just like to see other stickers. Both our countries have women in uniform being killed in combat to help and protect another countries' women. The women in armed services (and your mother, and your sister, daughter, wife, co-worker) deserve better than some of these stickers. | ||

Thats right people no bad stickers and also dont say anything that would include using any type of freedom of speech. I'm not really sure what women in the armed forces have to do with stickers. But that is a topic for another thread. I will remove the sticker I think your upset about. edit: I left the second sticker up. If your with the SPCA, PETA or simply find the implied reference to a canine's posterior offensive let me know and I will remove it as well. Pete: PM? No, we're all grown ups and it was a general tone and direction. I would do the same in a room full of you. But, very important, it's a different country and a different constitution so it would be wrong for me to say much more. I like stickers, my mx van was covered in them. I used to sell them and I still have quite a few left from those days. And thanks for making that change. (Was just thinking of sending you a pm about Ride Grey Bruce. Sorry no pics of these, too many years and bikes ago. lol, speaking of the delicate sensibilities of women. My girlfriend bought a sticker for her female friend when we were at the Bike Shop the other day. The sticker says; "If I don't get laid soon someone is going to get hurt!" I volunteered to help out but the gf didn't really think that was a good idea. lol | ||

Iamarchangel- what do you do for a living? ...and thanks for speaking your mind, I don't feel that you were being too pushy or anything. After all, what good are convictions if you don't share them?? And for the rest who feel as tho he was out of place for saying something: please note that he was very mellow and polite about it and simply stated his opinions around the matter...much the same way that you state your opinions by displaying the "offensive" material. His opinion (and others who weren't willing to speak up) was merely different than yours. On another note, many of these stickers are hilarious! What's funny is I told my wife (aka other toy) that my sticker was taken off and she said "That's stupid. I don't think it's offensive. Hell, I'll probably put the same sticker on my bike when I get one." I know I'm a lucky guy.  Anyway. I live in the United States of America and we have the freedom of speech. I have the right to put a sticker on my bike that uses the word TITS. I have the right to share said sticker with other people, like minded or otherwise. You in return have the right to be offended and tell me that you're offended. My son plays little league baseball and this year they have decided not to keep score so as not to upset the losing team. In my opinion (see the constitution) the local little league in my area is contributing to the pussification of America. These kids need to realize that everybody doesn't always win. I think at 8 and 9 years old they are ready to accept that. Competition makes them try harder. I don't want my kid to grow up thinking that he doesn't have to put forth any effort and everything will be ok just like I don't want him to be afraid to speak his mind. I appreciate all those women in the military that are fighting for my right to say whatever I want. I have the utmost respect for a kid that can't even go out for a beer going over seas and fighting for a country that he/she hasn't even had the opportunity to fully enjoy. I spent time in the Air Force as did my dad and a few uncles. Grandfather retired Navy, the other retired Army. My brother is in the Marines, in Iraq as I right this. Just like the people that protest music, books, magazines, movies, and all other forms of media that some people find offensive and others don't. If it offends you then don't read/watch/listen to it. Seems like a no brainer to me. The sticker is on my bike, not yours. My choice--your choice. I'm just as glad that I am able to choose to put this sticker on my bike as I'm glad that you can choose not to put it on yours. Good thing I'm not offended by people that speak their opinions huh? Sorry for the rant but I'm so sick of people whining about such insignificant things. People nowadays are offended way to easily. How many of you guys were offended by the carpet sticker?
