Every time i try to start my bike i hit the starter and theres almost a one second pause before anything happens. Maybe its a weak battery because i can imagine its no easy task to get this large engine to turn over. Any thoughts? |

either a weak/dying battery or a bad connection. make sure both cables are tight to the battery. |

Sounds like a bad ground, like Phelan said. If the connections are tight I wound replace the starter relay. |

Oh and I did go thru all the connections first and pulled the solenoid for a look. |

This happened to me. I replaced one of the simple relays and it fixed it. $10 and I lived with that for years before I found it. |
