Moosetang- your doing exactly what Im doing, but think about getting a cover as well and using a cable lock to keep it down. So no one can "peek" at your bike even. I'm pming you a couple links about the alarm and chain as well. Archanagel- thats insane!!!!! It wasn't a Kershaw knife was it? I'd mess someone up even if they gave my Kershaw back |

Iamarchangel, Things work differently in Canada. Everyone in Canada loves everyone else and you all blow kisses to each other on the street. It's a beautiful thing, Canada. In the US we like to kill people. Of course every human life is precious |

I've kinda figured that a chain is more of a visual deterrent than anything else. unless you got the Almax III chain or whatever it ism or something thats truly uncroppable, your never 100% safe. All visuals if the chains at least 12mm thick. So i'm gonna get a no-name Beast/Fuggedaboutit cloen off of ebay, wrap it around a few times so they have to spend as much time as possible cutting/cropping it, getting the alarm, cover and being done with it. Its just a Firebolt, if they want my 4500 bike that bad they can get a plasma torch and get it. |

How 'bout this? This damage caused by a Kryptonite Disc Brake Lock I forgot to take off. May not be a deterrent but they certainly will not ride the bike off!
