Man that's a disappointment. I was hoping someone could improve on the factory underslung design.
That just looks wrong on so many different levels.

IMO looks a little out of place. Like you made it yourself.

hmm...
This of coarse is a personal thing but...
Either
- keep the muffler completely under the bike
- Bring it all the way out on the side, or both sides (even better)
- Or make it an undertail unit

I just never cared for the amputee look

I am sure it sounds much better in person, but it looks/sounds like it needs a larger "absorption" chamber.

Setting the criticisms aside, well done!
Fabrication looks top notch, not to mention its the first one out.

I just listened to the sound, TOUGH almost Ducati'sh but deeper. I'm seriously impressed by how much that changed the bike for the better. For the first time I see light at the end of the tunnel. This bike is correctable! These pictures need to leak out to none Buell sites. You will sell a butt load of bikes for them. This opens up markets in a big way.

Will you be making pods too? : )

My hat is off to your effort....

BUT, it's not my cup of tea. IMO, it should be under the bike.

Still, it looks better than the stock unit, but I would definitely be looking into a belly pan.

Thanks for sharing.

A belly pan is a MUST now, for looks, aerodynamics and stability.

Looks good!

All stainless?

Weight savings?

Before & after dyno chart?

Black finish available?

Removable/repackable baffle?

Retail price?

How about a "ride report"?

I would like to see -

Before and after dyno

Shorter cans, one each side.

Shorter header, smushed can to fit and a skid plate.

Props to D&D for a nice first rendition setup.
Looks and sounds good enough, I'm tempted.
Especially if it's "tuneable" for sound level.

I'm going to gut my stocker first.

I agree with Pwnzor. Nice effort, just not consistent with the Buell designs. Just looks out of place.

I'll wait and see what kind of a Drummer Kevin comes up with.

Well, I think it makes an interesting alternative. Of course it won't be everyone's favorite. Buell's are the same way. Some like them, some don't. I like that something like that is at least available.

All stainless, don't know price, will know Monday, polished and non-polished available, 12.25 lbs. lost over stock, no image of after dyno but there ARE GAINS through the whole run. D&D will have this all posted by Monday on their site

baffle is removable, at least on mine. This is the only way they could make power, I wanted a dual short style but it would not produce anything. This was the ONLY setup that would.....

Congrats on being one of the first to do something different with this bike!

I personally don't care for the look or the sound, but I have never seen a D+D that I liked, now that I think about it. The chrome doesn't "fit" the 1125R, in my insignificant opinion. Now, if it matched the frame.....

I prefer a a more mellow tone (walk quietly/big stick kinda thing), but I think that sound will sell alot of D+D's.

I think if you drop the bike the exhaust is toast, but if not it looks good, I had a D&D on my xb how loud is it to a xb with a D&D exhaust on a scale of one to ten. Mike
